The V27 series of new smartphones from Chinese manufacturer Vivo were introduced in the nation on Wednesday. Both of the new phones, the V27 Pro and V27, are loaded with premium Vivo features.
The V27 Pro, the top model in the line, has three storage options with prices ranging from Rs 37,999 for 8GB+128GB to Rs 39,999 for 8GB + 256GB to Rs 42,999 for the 12GB+256GB model. It can be pre-ordered on Flipkart, the Vivo India e-store, and all affiliated retail locations.
The V27, the series' entry-level model, starts at Rs 32,999 for 8GB+128GB and Rs 36,999 for 12GB+256GB. The phone will be on sale beginning March 23.
Both new smartphones in the V27 series are available in two colour options: Magic Blue (with color-changing) and Noble Black.
The devices come with "flagship-level hardware, a 3D curved display along with the premium Fluorite AG Glass back panel that features the much-loved colour-changing technology".
"With flagship-level MediaTek chipsets paired with the segment's best 50MP Sony IMX766V sensor with OIS, the V27 series opens up new possibilities for consumers," said Yogendra Sriramula, Head of Brand Strategy, Vivo India.
A 6.78-inch 3D Curved AMOLED screen with a high refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits is featured in the new series. The smartphone also includes Night Portrait with Aura Light, which is powered by a Sony IMX766V sensor and paired with Aura Light to capture studio-quality night portraits.
The V27 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200, an advanced 4nm 5G chipset that provides flagship-level peak performance while consuming little power, whereas the V27 is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G processor.
Both smartphones feature a 4600mAh battery and fast 66W FlashCharge. The Vivo TWS Air will be priced at Rs 3,999, according to the company.
