Kaivalya Vohra, aged 21, has amassed a net worth of ₹3,600 crore, as reported by the Hurun India Rich List.

New Delhi: Kaivalya Vohra, co-founder of the quick commerce app Zepto, has become the youngest individual to make it onto the Hurun India Rich List. At just 21 years old, Vohra boasts a net worth of ₹3,600 crore. His co-founder, Aadit Palicha, who is 22, is the second youngest to appear on the list.

Vohra and Palicha, former Stanford University students, left their computer science studies to pursue entrepreneurship. They launched Zepto in 2021 to meet the rising demand for swift and contactless delivery of essential items during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Zepto operates in India’s fiercely competitive grocery delivery sector, contending with major players such as Amazon’s Indian division, Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, and Tata Group’s BigBasket.

Vohra first appeared on the IIFL Wealth-Hurun India Rich List in 2022 at age 19 and has been featured annually since.

The 2024 Hurun India Rich List has achieved a notable milestone, with India’s billionaire count exceeding 300 for the first time. The list includes prominent figures from various fields, including entertainment, corporate, and quick commerce.

Gautam Adani and his family top the 2024 list with a staggering wealth of ₹11.6 lakh crore, overtaking Mukesh Ambani. Adani’s wealth has surged by 95% over the past year, recovering strongly from the scrutiny following the Hindenburg report.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan also makes the list, reaffirming his status as one of India’s wealthiest celebrities.

Other notable additions include Radha Vembu, founder of Zoho Corporation, and Anand Chandrasekaran, a seasoned tech executive.
