The State of India Gaming Report 2022 sheds light on the changing gaming habits of Indian women and men.
According to the State of India Gaming Report 2022, women gamers in India spend more time playing games than men. The report, which surveyed over 6,000 gamers across the country, found that women gamers spend an average of 7.4 hours per week playing games, compared to 6.4 hours for men.
The report also found that women gamers in India are increasingly playing on mobile devices, with 94% of female gamers using smartphones to play games. In contrast, only 73% of male gamers use smartphones for gaming.

The report notes that the mobile gaming market in India is expected to reach $2.8 billion by 2022, driven in part by the increasing popularity of online multiplayer games.

"This is a positive development for the gaming industry in India, and we expect to see continued growth and innovation in the sector in the years to come."
The State of India Gaming Report 2022 also found that gaming is becoming more popular among older age groups in India, with 37% of gamers aged 45 and above playing games on a regular basis. The report suggests that this trend is likely to continue as the gaming industry in India expands and matures, offering new opportunities for players of all ages and backgrounds.
