According to a recent announcement from Sony, Ubisoft will soon offer more than 50 free games to PlayStation Plus subscribers. With the new PS Plus revision having recently begun, subscribers to the Premium and Extra tiers of the programme now have access to more games for both the PS4 and PS5. And before the end of 2020, users of those PS Plus plans will start receiving a flood of Ubisoft games.
Ubisoft explained that it will eventually add more games to its Ubisoft + Classics service in a new article on the PlayStation Blog. There are now 27 titles included in this programme, which is accessible to PS Plus Premium and Extra subscribers as well. Ubisoft has stated that more than 50 titles would be available by the end of 2022, albeit we aren't yet sure what all of them will be.
Ubisoft said of its plans to develop this service, "Ubisoft+ Classics initially launched with 27 Ubisoft titles, including Assassin's Creed Valhalla, The Division, and For Honor, as well as classic games like Child of Light, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, Watch Dogs, and Werewolves Within. We have plans to expand the library to include over 50 titles by the end of 2022.
Ubisoft announced last week that it would start adding several cherished Assassin's Creed games to Ubisoft+ Classics in the coming week. Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin's Creed Unity, and Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered will all be available to PS Plus subscribers starting on Tuesday, July 19. If you include the Freedom Cry DLC for Black Flag, there are a total of seven games in this lineup, which is an incredible approach to strengthen PS Plus even further in the near future.
