The BSA Goldstar 650 has been launched in India, featuring what is claimed to be the largest single-cylinder engine available on a motorcycle in the country.

The Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA), once the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, is making a highly anticipated return to India with its iconic Gold Star 650. After its celebrated comeback in the UK in 2021, the BSA Gold Star 650 has gained traction in Europe, Turkey, New Zealand, and the Philippines. Now, it’s ready to compete with Royal Enfield’s 650 twin range in India. The Gold Star 650 is priced starting at ₹2.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

BSA Gold Star 650: Key Features

The Gold Star 650 boasts one of the largest single-cylinder engines available in India today. Its 652cc engine delivers a peak power of 45.6 hp and 55 Nm of torque. It comes equipped with Brembo brakes, dual-channel ABS, aluminum Excel rims, and Pirelli tires. The bike blends classic British design with modern features, including digital-analog instrumentation, a 12V socket, and a USB charger.
