Aryan Khan has purchased two floors valued at Rs 37 crore in a South Delhi building where his father, superstar Shah Rukh Khan, owns the ground floor and basement.
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s children, Suhana Khan and Aryan Khan, have made notable real estate investments recently. Following Suhana Khan’s acquisition of two prime properties in Maharashtra, Aryan Khan has purchased two floors worth Rs 37 crore in the same South Delhi building where Shah Rukh Khan owns the ground floor and basement.
According to documents obtained by the Economic Times, Aryan acquired the property in Delhi’s Panchsheel Park, with the transaction registered in May 2024. Aryan paid Rs 2.64 crore in stamp duty. Interestingly, he bought the floors in the same building where Shah Rukh and his wife, Gauri Khan, lived during their early days. The Khan family already owns the basement and ground floor of the building.
While Bollywood celebrities usually avoid investing in Delhi properties, Shah Rukh’s connection to his hometown adds significance to this investment. Pradeep Prajapati, founder of the boutique real estate consultancy Wealthvisory Capital, noted, “In Delhi, high-value transactions by Bollywood stars are rare. Amitabh Bachchan previously sold his Gulmohar Park property in South Delhi for around Rs 23 crore.”
In January 2023, Suhana Khan purchased farmland in Alibaug, a coastal town in Maharashtra, for Rs 12.91 crore. A year later, in February 2024, she acquired a beachfront property near Mumbai in coastal Maharashtra. This luxurious, beach-facing property cost her over Rs 10 crore, including stamp duty charges.
On the professional front, Suhana made her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s “The Archies” and will next appear alongside her father in Sujoy Ghosh’s “The King.” Aryan is set to make his directorial debut with the web show “Stardom.”
