During his keynote address, Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal outlined his vision for the company’s future, underscoring Ola’s commitment to shaping India’s destiny. “Our goal is to build the India of our dreams. We are dedicated to realizing the 2047 vision and shaping the future rather than leaving it to others,” he stated. Aggarwal also reflected on the company’s evolution from its humble beginnings in a Mumbai office to becoming India’s first listed EV company. He proudly noted, “Three years ago, Ola Electric was just a dream. Today, we’re the largest two-wheeler electric vehicle company in the world.”
In an earnings call on August 14, Aggarwal highlighted the company’s new focus on the motorcycle segment, a significant part of the Indian automotive market. He emphasized that Ola Electric is now targeting both mass and premium segments with its new electric motorcycle lineup.
The launch of the Roadster Series follows the company’s recent stock market debut, with shares initially listed at ₹76 per share but later climbing above ₹110 on the BSE as of August 14.
The event also featured a performance by three-time Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej, adding a celebratory note to the occasion.
